Warrick County is one of the fastest growing counties in the entire state Indiana. Our population growth was that of 1.3% between April 2000-July 2001, with the majority of the growth in the Ohio Township. According to 2000 US Census Bureau, Warrick County had a total population of 52,383. Out of 52,383 people, Ohio Township alone was home to 31,002 people, which is 60% of the entire population.

In addition to the population growth, we have many improvements coming our way in 2003. There are approximately 14 new residential subdivisions containing over 800+ new homes and the Highway 66 expansion, starting in June 2003, from 2 lanes to 6 lanes.

We are really excited about this project because Highway 66 is the main artery of Ohio Township. Located just 3 miles East of Interstate 164, which connects to Interstate 64, you have easy access to major cities such as St. Louis and Louisville.

In addition to these major events, Ohio Township has a lot of history the beautiful Ohio River and is home to some of the best schools in the state of Indiana. Many people find this area to be a wonderful environment to raise their families.
